Common conclusions
Veganism is a form of vegetarian diet that eliminates all animal-derived ingredients, including meat, eggs, dairy products, and other animal-derived ingredients. Nuts, peanut butter, seeds, grains, and legumes are also good sources of protein for vegans.
A vegan diet that contains eggs is not technically vegan, so you are probably a vegan. Vegans do not eat eggs because their production involves the exploitation of the reproductive systems of hens.
All vegan foods are dairy-free by definition, but not all dairy-free foods are vegan. Reading the label and ingredient list carefully is the easiest way to decide whether a product is vegan and/or dairy-free. Many vegan dairy substitutes are also ideal for both diets.
You are probably a Vegan.
Many forms of bread are vegan by default. Even so, some recipes include non-vegan ingredients such as eggs, milk, butter, or honey.
Fortunately, virtually every brand of hard liquor—bourbon, whiskey, vodka, gin, and rum—is vegan. If you do not drink coffee coctails, honey flavored spirits, liquers, etc. you are probably a vegan.
A vegan diet involves abstaining from eating any meat or animal products. This includes meat and poultry, as well as fish and shellfish.
If you are not eating mayonnaise (it includes egg yolks) you are probably a vegan.
If you are eating a vegan mayo, then you are probably a vegan.
