Based on your answers, there are several other ways that can help you manage vaginal boils. It is very important to wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and warm water before touching the vaginal boil, to avoid worsening the infection. You should not pop the boil, as this will release the bacteria and the infection may spread. You can apply a warm compress on a vaginal boil and leave it on for about ten minutes. The heat helps to improve blood circulation in the affected area and reduce infection. You can repeat this procedure several times a day until your vaginal boil disappears.
Based on your answers, you know a lot about how to manage vaginal boils. You can apply an ointment, such as petroleum jelly, to protect the boil from friction caused by underwear or clothing. Also, it would be good to wear loose bottoms while your vaginal boil heals. If you train, be sure to change your underwear after training and excessive sweating. If the vaginal boil bursts, you can use antibiotic ointments such as combined bacitracin, neomycin and polymyxin B (Neosporin) to prevent the infection from spreading. If necessary, you can take over-the-counter pain medications such as ibuprofen (Advil) or acetaminophen (Tylenol).
