Common conclusions

Based on your answers it is unlikely that you have a sinus headache. Sinus headache is caused by sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses). Other types of headaches such as migraines or tension headaches have similar symptoms to sinus headaches and often are very hard to distinguish them. Also, there are other conditions that can cause facial pain or pressure such as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) syndrome, dental infections, or certain neurologic problems. The treatment you need depends on what kind of health problem you have, so please make an appointment with your doctor for further analysis.

Based on your answers there is a possibility that you have a sinus headache. A sinus headache occurs when your sinuses become inflamed, usually due to an allergic reaction or an infection. Inflammation can cause sinus congestion that can result in headache pain often referred to as a sinus headache. You can feel this type of pain on one or both sides of your head. Sinus headaches can happen seasonally or occasionally depending on what causes them. Treatment includes herbal remedies, over-the-counter medications, and prescription drugs. The goal is to relieve your symptoms and treat an infection. Please contact your doctor for detail evaluation of your symptoms.
