Based on your answers, there are several other ways that can help you manage low blood pressure. You can use more salt in your diet because sodium can raise your blood pressure. However, be sure to consult a doctor before making such dietary changes. You can also increase your fluid intake. In addition to preventing dehydration, fluids increase blood volume and help treat hypotension. Be active and start exercising regularly. You can also wear compression stockings that cover your calf and thigh. Elastic stockings have the role of restricting blood flow in your legs, which will result in keeping more blood in the upper part of your body.
Based on your answers, you know a lot about how to manage low blood pressure. You can drink a lot of soft drinks, but limit the use of alcohol. If possible, elevate the headboard while sleeping. When you get out of bed in the morning, do so by first sitting upright on the edge of the bed for a few minutes before standing. If you have episodes of dizziness after a meal, try to eat smaller, more frequent meals. To avoid problems with hypotension, avoid bathing or showering with hot water; if you feel dizzy, sit down immediately. Your doctor may also prescribe medication to treat hypotension.
