Common conclusions
Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant drug that can be used for the treatment of hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3 has a powerful hyperpigmentation-blitzing effect too. You should feel free to mix niacinamide and vitamin C together (either together in the same product, or combined from different products that you layer one over the other), because it may be useful to combine the two because they function in different ways to achieve the result. To be successful, vitamin C must be used at a low pH, while niacinamide works best at a higher/neutral pH.
If you have sensitive skin then you can always use niacinamide in the morning and vitamin C at night, or even alternate days.
By loosening fine lines and reducing instances of hyperpigmentation and sallowness, vitamin C requirements resolve the symptoms of aging. It also increase collagen production. Niacinamide-treated women showed substantially greater changes in skin elasticity and appearance too. It is safe to use both niacinamide and vitamin C, either together in the same product, or combined from different products that you layer one over the other. You can also use niacinamide in the morning and vitamin C at night, or even alternate days.
Serum is a skincare product you can apply to your skin after cleansing but before moisturizing, so you should use the Niacinamide serum first. To allow the serum to fully absorb, apply and wait five minutes before adding the vitamin C cream.
Both niacinamide and vitamin C are safe to use, either together in the same product or in combination with separate products that you layer on top of each other. Niacinamide can also be used in the morning and vitamin C in the evening or on alternating days.
