Based on your answers you have a low risk of getting an ovarian cyst. The ovaries are an important part of the female reproductive system. Every woman has two ovaries, one on each side of the uterus. The ovaries produce eggs during a woman's childbearing years, as well as female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that can form on the surface of the ovary or inside the ovary. Most women develop at least one ovarian cyst at some point in their lives. Ovarian cysts are usually harmless and most of them can disappear spontaneously within a few months.
Based on your answers you have a moderate risk of getting an ovarian cyst. An ovarian cyst is a sac filled with fluid that forms inside the ovaries or on their surface. The follicles, which are the cyst-like structures form in your ovaries every month. During ovulation, these follicles burst, releasing an egg that is transported to the uterus. If the follicle does not rupture, but continues to grow, a cyst will form. Ovarian cysts are common in women who have hormonal problems and who are taking fertility drugs to enhance ovulation. Ovarian cysts often do not cause any symptoms so regular gynecological examinations are extremely important.
Based on your answers you have a high risk of getting an ovarian cyst. An ovarian cyst is a sac-like structure filled with fluid that can form on the surface of the ovary or inside the ovary. Ovarian cysts are a relatively common gynecological condition that can occur in any woman. They are slightly more common in women who are 50 or older. They are common in women who have a personal or family history of endometriosis (uncontrolled growth of uterine tissue), as well as in those who have hormonal problems. Women who often have severe ovarian inflammation also have an increased risk of developing ovarian cysts.
