Based on your answers it is unlikely that you have type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is also known as juvenile diabetes. It is a medical condition in which the pancreas does not produce, or produces a very small amount of a hormone called insulin. The main source of energy in the body is sugar (glucose). Insulin is needed for sugar to be transferred from the blood to the cells. When your body does not produce enough insulin, sugar cannot be transferred to the cells, so high sugar levels remain in the blood.
