Common conclusions

Based on your answers it is unlikely that you have hyperparathyroidism. Hyperparathyroidism is a medical condition characterized by increased production of the parathyroid hormone (PTH). This hormone is produced by the parathyroid glands. There are four parathyroid glands that can be found behind the thyroid in the front of the neck. These glands are very small, the size of a grain of rice. The parathyroid hormone is responsible for regulating the levels of calcium and phosphorus in the body. Hyperparathyroidism is a condition in which one or more parotid glands secrete higher amounts of parotid hormone than normal. This leads to increased levels of calcium in the blood.

Based on your answers there is a possibility that you have hyperparathyroidism. Hyperparathyroidism is a medical condition that refers to the overproduction of the parathyroid hormone. There are two types of hyperparathyroidism: primary and secondary. Primary hyperparathyroidism is caused by an enlargement of one or more parathyroid glands that then secrete larger amounts of calcium than usual. Secondary hyperparathyroidism is a consequence of another disease in the body that leads to reduced levels of calcium in the blood, due to which the parotid gland secretes more calcium in order to compensate its loss. Diagnosing is based on blood tests.

Based on your answers there is a high possibility that you have hyperparathyroidism. Hyperparathyroidism is a medical condition characterized by increased activity of one or more parotid glands and consequently high levels of calcium in the blood. High levels of calcium in the blood can cause many health problems, including high blood pressure, thinning bones and kidney stones. Treatment depends on the severity of your symptoms. With mild hyperparathyroidism, your doctor will recommend regular monitoring of calcium levels, blood pressure, kidney function and bone density. In severe cases, your doctor may recommend surgery to remove the enlarged parathyroid gland.
