Common conclusions

Based on your answers it is unlikely that you have color vision deficiency. Color vision deficiency is a medical condition characterized by the inability to distinguish certain colors. Color vision deficiency is also known as color blindness. Most people who are "color blind" can actually see colors, but have trouble noticing the difference between certain colors. Some people with this condition cannot distinguish red from green, while others cannot distinguish blue from yellow. Only a small group of people have a condition in which they cannot see the colors at all, but instead see in black and white. This form of color vision deficiency is called monochromatism.

Based on your answers there is a possibility that you have color vision deficiency. Color vision deficiency is a medical condition that refers to an impaired perception of colors. The information about the colors you see is provided by the cells in the retina of your eye, known as the cones. These cones contain pigments that detect different colors based on their wavelengths. In people who are "color blind", the cones lack one or more light-sensitive pigments, so they cannot see some of the three basic colors - red, green or blue. A diagnosis is based on a comprehensive eye examination and specially designed tests.

Based on your answers there is a high possibility that you have color vision deficiency. Color vision deficiency represents a group of disorders in which people have difficulty seeing the difference between the shades of certain colors under the normal lighting conditions. Color vision deficiency is usually an inherited condition that affects both eyes. It is more common in men than in women. People who are color blind have normal visual activity. Images composed of colored dots, called pseudoisochromatic plaques, are used to diagnose this disorder. Inherited color vision deficiency cannot be cured. Disease-related color blindness can be corrected by treating the underlying cause.
