This might be due to either a software error, your iPhone's WiFi and Bluetooth being disabled or your devices are not paired properly. Troubleshoot your device by first making sure your iPhone has WiFi and Bluetooth enabled. Then, pair your devices and check again. If the problem persists, check for updates on both devices and after installing it, try again.
