Common conclusions

Based on your answers it is unlikely that you have hemophilia. Hemophilia is a medical condition characterized by improper blood clotting. Normally, your blood contains proteins called clotting factors, which are responsible for stopping bleeding when blood vessels are injured. In people with hemophilia, there are fewer clotting factors than normal, which leads to prolonged bleeding after the injury. The severity of hemophilia depends on the number of clotting factors that are missing. Small cuts are usually not a big problem. However, if more serious injuries occur, people with hemophilia can develop deep bleeding in their body, especially in the knees, joints and elbows.

Based on your answers there is a possibility that you have hemophilia. Hemophilia is a medical disorder in which your blood does not clot properly. It is an inherited disorder and a person is born with hemophilia. The cause of hemophilia is a defective gene that can be inherited from one or both parents. Rarely, in a small number of cases, hemophilia can develop later in life. In more severe forms of hemophilia, the disease becomes obvious early in childhood, while in milder forms the diagnosis is usually made in young adulthood. A diagnosis is based on blood tests that can confirm the deficiency of clotting factors.

Based on your answers there is a high possibility that you have hemophilia. Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder. In people with hemophilia, the blood does not clot normally due to the lack of certain proteins responsible for blood clotting. These proteins are called clotting factors. There are many clotting factors in the blood, and people with hemophilia usually have a lower amount of factor VIII (8) or factor IX (9). Treatment involves replacement therapy - compensating for the missing thickening factor. Some people may only use therapy during a bleeding episode, while others may use medications on a regular basis to prevent bleeding episodes (continuous replacement therapy).
