Common conclusions
Bees require plants from which they can gather pollen from and various types of bees prefer different plants so it is better to grow multiple plants close by.
Bees do not require the water to bath but just to cool down in high temperature environments and to drink water. Take a flat pan and put pebbles on the bottom and fill it with water so that the bees can stand on the pebbles and not go fully under water.
Pesticides and such chemicals are rather harmful to bees and their honey as they could kill the whole hive or poison the honey in which case the honey will not remain edible.
The honey should be collected from the hives at every early spring season as after that the bees start to collect pollen again. Clean the hive of honey and any wax or dirt carefully.
The queen is basically the heart and sole of the hive and it controls and unifies the hive and also control the prominent actions. It also is the sole egg breeder in the hive and without it, the hive will die out.
If the temperature of the hive or the surrounding area goes below 13°C, the bees will stop collecting pollen and stop producing honey and might even die if the temperature drops to the extreme. So, it is better to place the bees in a controlled environment in the winter.
If the temperature of the hive or the surrounding area goes above 95°F, the bees will most likely die and the hive might even catch fire if the temperature rises to the extreme. So, it is better to place the bees in a controlled environment in the summer.
In winter, the bees get a little lazier and don't go out much to collect pollen or food so it is better to put a small pan with sugar syrup or sugar crystals with water so the bees can easily get food and not get hungry.
Taking care of bees is rather difficult as there can be many issue such as a single bee getting sick and spreading it to the whole hive or a group of bees collecting pollen from a poisonous plant which would affect the hive. Therefore, it is better to handle them with extra care.
