Common conclusions
Most security cameras need a live power source to power up and work. Even though they require a low amount of power, a proper power system should be designed to connect to the camera so that during any power surge, the camera is not damaged.
For a battery powered system, the batteries, if lead acid, need to be maintained by pouring alkaline solution in it. If the batteries have been used for a long period of time, they might need to get replaced as they have a limited number if charge cycles.
The issue might be with the power cable or the safety power switch on the camera might have been turned OFF. Turn it ON and try again. If it still does not turn ON, check all connections and get the camera checked as well.
The issue might be with the display cable not connected properly on either end or the cable or port being damaged. First check the connections, then change the cable and if it still does not work, try to restart your system or get it checked by a technician.
The problem might be with the display peripheral not being of good specification and quality or the camera that is being used is of low quality and specifications. In some cases, the issue might also be due to the display cable. Therefore, try to change the cable with a better one.
This could be due to the display cable being damaged or not connected properly or it could be due to a bad monitor. If a monitor gets damaged due to any cause such as a power surge, some physical damage, it starts showing such issues. First check the display cable then go to a technician to get it checked.
Make sure the camera is within the range of your device's WiFi so that it can connect to the camera with good signals instead of barely catching any signals.
This is to tell you that the manufacturer of the camera has launched a new update for the firmware/software which should be installed as might have some new features or remove some pre-existing bugs.
For any other problem, you can check the faq's on the original manufacturer's website or get in contact with their technician through a local landline or some other means.
