This might be the cause as when you do not drink enough water, your skin gets dehydrated and germs can be trapped within your skin without sufficient hydration to purge them out which leads to a greater chance of an acne breakout. It is recommended to drink 15 to 16 glasses on a daily basis for male and 11 to 12 for female.
These fruits and veggies have certain nutrients which are vital for the skin to keep it clean and hydrated. It is better to incorporate these in your regular diets. A better diet should be mandatory to keep your skin healthy.
Your skin has oil glands which release oil onto your face which cause acne if not washed. If you do not wash your face with a proper face wash, it will lead to dead skin in the pores, excess oil and bacteria build-up which increase the chance of an acne outbreak.
After moving around all day and juggling things in your hand from one surface to another will lead to your hands being full of germs and bacteria and if you touch your face with the same hands, the germs will move to your face. In minor cases, you might have some acne if you are washing your face regularly. However, in extreme cases you might develop an infection which might lead to a full blown acne outbreak.
The acne might be due to an allergic reaction as some allergies can lead to having pimples or white heads on your face in a high number. The difference is that acne caused by an allergic reaction will itch while normal acne will not.
Spicy foods often have acidic lycopenes that can irritate your skin, throw off the balance of your pH levels, and trigger acne breakouts. Therefore, while dealing with acne, it is better to withhold from eating too much spicy food.
As a human body goes through any of these two processes, the hormonal levels vary by a great deal from the normal levels which will in most cases lead to an acne breakout. During puberty/pregnancy, the oil glands will increase in size leading to a greater chance of a breakout. Therefore, it is better to use a mild face wash regularly.
Birth control pills can cause your androgen levels to fluctuate, resulting in an increase in hormonal acne. Therfore, when you start taking the pills or when you stop them, the androgen levels will fluctuate which could cause acne.
