Check the cable between the battery and the device. Is it damaged from anywhere?

Is there a problem with the straps of the headgear such as them being too loose?

Are you not able to perform the initial setup on the device?

Are you not able to connect the oculus quest to your phone?

Are you not able to connect the headgear to your PC?

Are you not able to connect the headgear to the controllers?

Common conclusions

When restarting a device or starting a device you have to press the power button once or keep it pressed for 30 seconds for a hard reboot.

Without the battery plugged in the device will not turn ON and there will be no effect on pressing the power button.

The battery should at least be 70% charged before being plugged in and should be charged only with the given charger which matches the battery's specification.

A damaged cable may be the cause for it to not power up as it might create an open circuit. Fix the wire or replace it with a new one.

This might be due to the user stretching them forcefully while trying to wear them over the eyes or it might be due to being used for a long time. Just replace it with a new one as they don't cost that much.

First, using the internal settings of the headgear, connect to the controllers then connect to a WiFi connection and simply create an account on the official website or login if you already have an account. From there you can download games and start playing. Make sure the internet is working properly.

First install the oculus application on your smartphone and using the app's scan feature, find the device you want to sync it with, in this case the oculus quest headgear and simply click on the connect button.

You can connect to your PC using the official oculus application and connect with a WiFi connection or with a USB type-C connector. Check up on the internet regarding the detailed method according to your device's firmware.

Using the in-built options of the gear, find the settings and select which controller you want to connect. While connecting, press the main/oculus button and the back buttons on the controller until the led lights on the controller blink and turn stable while ON.

For any other problem contact the original manufacturer or the online helpline.
