Common conclusions

As the first step of taking care of a cat is to interact with it on a daily basis, a person with allergies will make it rather tedious for you to take care of the cat or in some cases life threatening so it is better to first get tested for allergies.

As a Persian cat likes to be clean and has shiny fur, it is better to clean the litter box on daily basis using a filter scoop. This will make sure there is no smell.

As you know that a Persian cat has a lot fur, it can get dirty rather quickly. This might be more true for when the cat is young as it has a lot of energy and is playful so you can bath it 2 times a month but as it gets older, it gets lazier so once a month or once every two months is OK. Use a shampoo which is suitable for Persian cats.

Persian cats shed their fur every season and as they have a lot of hair, your house may have hair everywhere. So it is normal if your cat is shedding. You can counter this by brushing its fur daily/weekly using a proper brush.

This could be a problem as there are many things which can cause this. Some non-threatening ones are that it could be due to a change in diet/food, vitamin deficiency or due to stress after pregnancy, a fever or high physical stress. The causes which could be threatening are that it could be a parasite infection, hormone irregularities or due to an autoimmune disease. So it is better to get it checked immediately.

This could be due to an unsuitable cat food. Cats prefer meat flavor as they are carnivores so it is better to have a higher ration of digestible meat in its food. It could also be due to stomach worms so get a simple checkup with a vet.

A nail trimming after every ten days or two weeks is recommended as cats have sharp nails and they could also be uncomfortable with their nail.

It is better to get your cat vaccinated when it is 9 weeks old and set up a plan with a vet as if the cat is around children, it could be harmful.

Before getting a Persian cat, make sure you have a proper space for the cat to roam, a scratch post and the necessities and as the kittens require more time with their owner, make sure you get as much interaction with the cat as possible. As they get older, they get lazier so it gets easier to take care of them.
