Based on your answers it is unlikely that you have ovarian cysts. Ovarian cysts are sacs filled with fluid located in the ovaries or on their surface. Ovarian cysts usually do not cause symptoms, and many women do not know they have them. The most common type of ovarian cysts is functional cysts that are the result of your menstrual cycle. There is no way to prevent ovarian cysts, but regular pelvic examinations can help you maintain your reproductive health.

There are 2 main types of ovarian cysts: functional and pathological. The most common type is functional ovarian cysts. They develop as a part of your menstrual cycle, and often go away on their own within two or three menstrual cycles. Pathological ovarian cysts are caused by abnormal cell growth or an underlying condition, such as endometriosis. Some types of cysts can become oversized, causing the ovaries to move from their position. The ultrasound scan is used to diagnose ovarian cysts.

Based on your answers there is a high possibility that you have ovarian cysts. Ovarian cysts are sacs with fluid placed inside your ovaries or on their surface. Ovarian cysts are more common in women with a regular menstrual cycle than in postmenopausal women. They can be different sizes. Large cysts can put pressure on your ovaries, causing them to move, or they can rupture causing pain and internal bleeding. Sometimes an ovarian cyst can prevent you from getting pregnant. Treatment includes monitoring your cyst, medications or surgery. In some cases it is possible to remove only the cyst, while in others the entire ovary must be removed.
