Was the device constantly in use for a large period of time?

Are you not able to hear properly even after wearing the aid?

Is the noise while wearing the aid which is not going away?

Common conclusions

Press the power button once or follow the instructions about how to turn the device ON.

Was the hearing aid dropped somewhere or was in contact with any liquid?

The fall/contact with the liquid may have fried the circuit inside the device. You can either get it checked at an electrical shop or contact the original manufacturer and claim warranty if any.

Some times if a device is not used for a long period of time, the battery dies as it has a limited time. Replace if yourself or get it replaced with a new one with the same specifications.

The device most probably has run out of life or the battery has died as all devices have limited life spans.

Contact the original manufacturer or a local technician and get it checked as the problem may be as simple as a misplaced button or a burnt circuit.

First check the volume control and set it to an appropriate value as you see fit. If this does not fix the problem, clean the speakers as dust or ear wax might have blocked it in turn blocking the sound. If all else fails, get it checked as the speaker might be faulty.

Check the frequency control. Change the value and set it as you see fit after a hit and trial where the noise is the lowest. If this does not work, check if you are standing close to some magnetic equipment as it might be the cause for the noise.

For any further problems contact the original manufacturer and file a complaint or get it checked by an electrician.
