Is the GPS system not starting up while the key has not been turned towards ignition?

Has the power cable been connected properly and the power button pressed?

Check the fuse box. Is the fuse for the GPS blown?

Is there a problem with the car's battery or is the battery light turned ON on the dashboard?

Are you not able to find the location where you want to go?

Is there no sound output coming out of the system?

Is the GPS system not able to create a route to the location set?

Common conclusions

The key needs to be turned towards ignition or the whole car powered up for the power to reach the GPS system.

As most circuits, the GPS system will have a set of wires which need to be connected to the specified port and the power button pressed to turn it ON.

If the fuse is blown, the safety system will kick in and the GPS system will be powered off.

If the battery is dead or close to dead, the GPS system will not turn ON as it also has a specific power requirement.

Change your location a little or restart the GPS. If you are present in an area with mountains and low mobile signals, the GPS device might fail to locate you.

Enter the proper longitude and latitude coordinates. If you are still not able to find it, update the internal system and try again.

Check the settings for the volume control and set a high value. Also check if the GPS system has been connected to the speakers or not. If everything fails, check in with an car electrician.

There might be no optimum route or the database has not been updated. Update the GPS and try again.

For any further problems contact the local technician or the original manufacturer.
