Common conclusions
The computer inside your car is informing you that there is some problem with the braking system. It could be as small as a simple wear of the brake pads or a full breakdown of the braking mechanism. So better get it checked out.
This is a sign of a simple brake pad wear. They are mad of steel so they wear over time. Get them replaced before they start contacting the rotor.
There are multiple reasons for the sound. It could simply be some gravel stuck in the caliper unit or it could be that the brake pads have been completely worn out and are in contact with the rotor. It could also be due to lack of lubrication on the rear drum brakes. Better to get the brakes serviced.
This might be due to uneven rotors. Rotors should be smooth and completely even in thickness. Or it could be due to rust forming on the rotors or a faulty brake caliper piston not releasing the caliper properly or the brake components being damaged. Get the rotor fixed from your local mechanic and get the whole braking mechanism checked.
The problem could be a leak in the braking fluid container or a problem with the master cylinder. In both cases it is better to get the car to your local mechanic to get diagnosed as this could lead to a fatal accident.
This could be caused by a faulty brake hose. One brake caliper may be applying more force than the other. It is not a serious problem but better to get it fixed.
This might be due to repeatedly braking hard and the brakes get overheated. Nothing to worry about. Just let them cool down a bit.
For any other problem, it is better to get your car to a mechanic and get it fixed.
