Common conclusions
This could be due to oil and grease which has gotten stuck to the clutch lining. This can be fixed by getting a simple cleaning from the local auto shop.
There are many reasons for the clutch to get loose and go all the way down very easily. Some of them are a broken clutch wire, a leak in the clutch fluid which will make the pedal useless. It will be better to get the car towed to the local mechanic's shop and get the clutch fixed as it could cause an accident.
This could be due to the clutch plate overheating and also a sign that the plate is starting to wear. This is most likely caused when driving is slow moving traffic where you press clutch multiple times in a short span of time. Better to get the plate checked and replaced if necessary.
This might have happened due to excessive pressure on the clutch plate and the overheating of the plate which causes slipping. Still it is better to get it checked as the it could cause further problems.
This might be due to excessive wear and tear on the clutch plate. Get the car checked as soon as possible and get the plates replaced as faulty plates could cause some unnecessary accidents.
The most probable cause for a clutch to not release is a bent clutch disk or a damaged input shaft or a worn down bearing. A thorough inspection should be done and the faulty parts should be replaced as soon as possible as if not replaced, could lead to more serious issues in the future.
For any further problems, it is better to get in contact with a mechanic as a faulty clutch will increase the chance of an accident occurring.
