Based on your answers there is a possibility that you have guttate psoriasis. Guttate psoriasis is a specific type of psoriasis, a skin disorder caused by impaired functioning of your immune system. Guttate psoriasis is common in childhood and in young adults of both sexes and all races. The name of this disorder is derived from the Latin word “gutta” which means “drop”. Guttate psoriasis is the second most common type of psoriasis and it is usually triggered by a bacterial infection. The symptoms last 2 to 3 weeks and often spontaneously clear up. Your doctor may recommend treatment for your symptoms in order to prevent possible infections.
