Based on your answers, you do have some flu-like symptoms. However, this does not necessarily mean that you have the flu, and it is important to contact a health professional for further diagnosis and in order to rule out other illnesses. A health profeesional may prescribe you with antiviral drugs to prevent flu related complications. In the meantime, be sure to rest at home, increase your fluid intake, wash your hands, and avoid contact with other people. It usually takes up to two weeks for the flu symptoms to go away completely.

Hi! I’m Jelena Radovanovic. After earning my Phd in General Medicine from the Medical University of Nis, I began a career as a physician in order to pursue my passion for medical science and help treat the people around me. I joined the Medical Center in Nis in 2010 where I gained practical knowledge in real-time situations. In addition to my primary job as a General Practitioner, I’ve worked with nonprofits to help underprivileged patients by providing them with information, services, and assistance.
